This 72″ x 4″ linear slot diffuser boot is the supply plenum that sits above the ceiling and feeds air into a 72″ linear slot diffuser. Built from galvanized sheet metal and fully wrapped in foil-faced insulation, it keeps conditioned air cool, prevents condensation and sweating in humid South Florida attics and ceilings, and gives a tight, finished connection between the flex duct and the diffuser.
The 10″ round collar accepts standard flex or rigid duct, and the 72″ x 4″ opening lines up with our 72″ 1-slot, 1″ linear slot diffusers for a fast, clean install in homes, offices, restaurants and retail spaces.
